It makes sense then that there are lots of fun things to do in Orlando at Christmas. From ice skating in shorts to gingerbread houses big enough you could actually walk inside, Christmas in Orlando is a special time of year.

It could come as a surprise for some, however you can find different things to do in Orlando apart from Disney World and Universal Studios. Especially during the holiday season!
Things to do in Orlando on Christmas Day
Below are a few festive and enjoyable (many are free) Christmas occasions in Orlando which do not demand long lines or exorbitant expenses.
1. Lights on Jeater Bend
Bend from the town of Celebration. Therefore, in the event that you will be in Orlando throughout Christmas break, then park your vehicle and walk across the road to get a dazzling show involving neighbors.
Christmas lights glow in unison with all the homes throughout the road, dance to the music on the loud speaker.
Santa with his bag of toys moves by a window, so he seems so real that I stopped since I believed it had been the owner of the home peeking out for a moment. Olaf pops up on a huge screen right before snow flurries begin. It’s a bewitching road!
Since we did not see much when driving down the road throughout the afternoon, we nearly did not return during the night. I am so thankful we did.
Hint: To avoid crowds, try to see weekdays.
2. Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail
The Christmas Tree Trail in Disney Springs is lined with 27 holiday trees every decorated for another Disney character or theme.
You will find Mickey Mouse shaped pretzels, vacation beverages, and seasonal decorations along the walk and also do not be shocked if you get snowed on!
Hint: Army folks, many restaurants provide discounts and therefore don’t neglect to ask.

December 15th from 3 PM to 8 PM, Winter Park in Rollins College Beach Front and Student Center; Dinky Dock.

4. Now Snowing
Close your eyes, hold handsand need for snow. Even if it is a 70-degree Florida nighttime with palm trees overhead, even at the town of Celebration the magic of thinking will make it happen.

Every year there’s a different theme, and this season we get to encounter The Polar Express come alive at the Gaylord Palms Resort. I could hardly feel my fingers at the end of the walk, but that I did not care 1 bit!
More than a dozen scenes in the holiday classic are thrown from ice hockey and recreated and it’s SO cool. Perhaps you will get to slip down a slip made from ice!
Suggestion: They give a coat but I recommend to also wear gloves, a hat and closed toe shoes.

8. ICE! featuring The Polar Express

If you love getting out in nature a little, head south into the calm Bok Tower Gardens, called America’s Taj Mahal.
Does it have a”singing” tower using a 60-bell carillon, but stunning gardens plus a twenty-room mansion decked out in Christmas decorations too.
After: November 23rd — January 6th.

9. Bok Tower Gardens
